This particular piece is made from Gary oak salvage from a distressed tree in the greater Nanaimo area. The design is ultimate simplicity, a slab of oak mounted on 2” x ¼” steel legs. The table is approximately 50” long, 15” wide, standing at 17” height. The jatoba butterfly keys have been added to reduce seasonal movement in the wood and prevent checking. The table is finished with a hand rubbed satin polyurethane
